Abstract

Background: The bidirectional relationship between periodontal disease and diabetes is well
established, but medical students often lack sufficient knowledge regarding this connection. 
This study aimed to assess the level of knowledge and awareness about the relationship 
between periodontal disease and diabetes among medical interns at Rama Medical College, 
Kanpur.
