Abstract

Water scarcity remains a serious global challenge, and the situation is expected to worsen in 
the future. To mitigate this issue, innovative solutions for sustainable water management in agriculture 
are essential. Traditional irrigation methods often lead to inefficient water usage, resulting in higher 
water demand, excessive wastage, and negative impacts on crop production. This research presents a 
smart irrigation system that leverages the Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine Learning (ML) to 
optimize water management.
